November 2007, New ultrasonic cleaning system

To meet our increasing need for clean substrates to our production of optical filters and holographic gratings, a new fully automated ultrasonic cleaning system has successfully been installed in our factory in Arninge, Sweden.

This system replaces the old ultrasonic cleaning system and will give not only higher throughput but also extremely clean substrates, which will improve the quality of our products.

November 2007, Spectrogon have been awarded the Optronic prize by Swedoptronics, an association within the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries.

The summary of the motivation; Spectrogon have an unique position in the optical component segment; interference filters and holographic gratings. The company manufactures a wide spectrum of products within a wide wavelength range. Spectrogon have increased the turnover with 30 % from 2004 to 2006. Even though the company have made large investments since 2004, they have managed to keep a good level of profitability.

Spectrogon's Roland Jacobsson, chairman of the board of directors, received the prize diploma 8 November 2007 in Skelleftea, Sweden.

Swedoptronics is a specialist trade association within the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries (Teknikforetagen). The main aim of the association is to create conditions for increased growth and profitability in the optronics industry.

February 2006, New broad bandpass filter design; BBP-8000-13000c nm

Spectrogon now manufactures 8-13 micron filters with transmittance over 90 % and with blocking UV-20000 nm. The filters meets the MIL-F-48616 specifications and dia 25.4 mm filters are on stock (larger sizes 4-7 weeks delivery time). Spectral characteristics BBP-8000-13000c in pdf format!
